Heidi Yohe, originally from Washington state, found her collegiate volleyball career at Springfield College in Massachusetts, where a past alumni invented the game of Mintonette, which later changed its name to Volleyball. She has a deep understanding for the rich history and a love for the game.
Her senior year, she lead her team to a conference title. She was awarded New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year and First Team honors, Athlete of the Week for 3 weeks, and voted Most Valuable player by her peers for two years. She holds the record for single season serve reception percentage and is third for career digs per game.
At Springfield College, she studied Youth Development and Outdoor Leadership. She won the prestigious Senior of the Year award for her efforts on the court, in the classroom and working as a camp director.
Heidi now has 10 seasons of coaching behind her and is currently the Head Coach for Headwaters Middle School.
While not coaching, Heidi loves all things family and adventure. She loves camping, swimming, rock climbing, kayaking, SUP boarding and hiking. During the week, she works for a local non-profit whose mission is to protect our natural water resources.
